Cherry Dresser Update

This outdated cherry dresser got a makeover by painting it cream with a gray ticking stripe! The decor and lamp was handmade and this is one of the display vignettes at our shop. The lamp was brass but we spray painted it a cream, distressed it and added the new gray shade! They sold together!

Staining Finish Tutorial

This restoration finish is achieved by using a vinegar and steel wool wash to give it a gray cast. After the wood dried, we applied a dark walnut stain to give it a rich color. You can follow the tutorial on the blog.
