Ooh La La Party~A Party to Remember
"Ooh La La" Birthday party
Pin Favorite on Pinterest
Do you love Pinterest as much as I do? I mean I could probably spend 24/7 on there if I didn't have some AhhMAZING self control! LOL!
But seriously, it is one of my favorite past times. I am a design and decoraholic and it feeds my addiction when I can find the time to relax and browse all those beautiful pins.
I first discovered Pinterest about 2 1/2 years ago. When I created my account I had been creating birthday party packages and selling them and listing them on my Etsy site. I had made a business from party planning but after I moved 2/12 years ago from my little town of Joplin, MO to Northwest Arkansas; I needed a new avenue to still create and sell my designs. I listed the pin of my "Ooh La La" birthday party and attached my listing to my Etsy site.

It is still one of the most pinned pins I have ever posted to date. I love that others have enjoyed the pin and that they have felt compelled to share it. I get notices that this pic is repinned 2-5 times a week! It occured to me recently that now that I have a blog, why not share this creation with those pinners and of course you! So here is a look at the party pics! Hope you enjoy this little DIY party package.

This party was created for a girl's birthday party, so we put together this Ooh La La dress up kit . The kit includes a french hat, gloves, necklace, bracelet and scarf.

An important detail to any party is in the coordinating color choices and carrying through tiny detail like ribbon or bling touches to your decor.

A customized party invitation sets the theme in motion for this party and any party planning is better when you can personalize as much as possible.

I made these cupcake toppers out of coordinating scrapbook paper. I love that I found the damask paper to coordinate with the invitation border and the hat boxes I used for display.

And, of course, no party is complete without a sweet treat!
Hello, Cupcake! :)

The sweet little purple purse is great for a kids party favor filled with their favorite candy! I used lavender and vanilla taffy to fill mine.
In my opinion, a list of key ingredients for a great party are these: cake, flowers, coordinating tablewear, matching decor, personalization and party favors.
Hope you enjoyed this DIY Party!
Until next time, remember.........it's not a party until you are there!
Blessings!
